Those sound like ovulation pains to me. Did you confirm you O’d with a temp shift? I’ve read that implantation takes place anywhere between 3 and 7 DPO, but have seen posts online about women getting implantation bleeds as late as 10-12 DPO.

So if you’re coming off of BC pills it can take a little while for you to figure out what your real cycle is (the pill forces your body to have a 28 day cycle but many women natural cycle is not 28 days). It would be unlikely to have a LP that goes from Feb 5-25 (another 10 days). Your body may take a few months to regulate the hormones and for you to see how long your cycle will be.  If you did ovulate on the 5th, sex after ovulation will unlikely lead to pregnancy (unless you ovulate later than you think), you want to try to time sex for the days before you ovulate and the day of, in order to maximize your chances of pregnancy.

If you’re TTC the best bet is to monitor your bbt, your cervical mucous, and use opk to predict when you are about to ovulate. Join one of the POAS boards, it’s a great resource with likeminded woman experiencing the same thing. Good luck!

I would use more than just feeling on confirmation for ovulation.  Since you’re not even a month off BC I’m going to guess your body is really just adjusting to not being on BC.  Is it possible that what you’re feeling is regular crampy pain instead of just implantation?  I hope the best for you and FX that you get a BFP soon.

It takes 5 to 6 days before implantation.   The sperm/egg has to divide etc before implantation.

secretlifeofbees :  Implantation (title made laugh) occurs 6-12 days past ovulation.  Most likely being about 9 DPO.  But I wouldn’t read too much into it.  It could also be O cramps for all you know, unless you have been temping/charting.

Are you talking about implantation?

In any case, randos online cannot tell you what the cramps you’re feeling are. Most people feel all sorts of whacky things when they first come off the pill because it’s the first time they’re experiencing a natural cycle in a long time. You could be pregnant, sure, or you could just be having random cramps. Only way to know is by taking a pregnancy test (which it might be too early to do anyway).

If you did in fact O on the 2/5, you should be around 10dpo today and can get a BFP on a FRER that early. To be on the safe side though, I’d wait two days or so and then test. Those bad boys are surprisingly very sensitive.
