whitums :  I actually found some great black leggings with the yoga band top at TJ Maxx (Ross and Marshalls also have them) that are comfy and stay up. They aren’t the same material as LLR but they are comfy and I can wear them with anything.

I love them and wear them about 80% of the time in the winter.

Love them, wearing some now. As my shape has changed in my 30s I’ve found the medium rise is important to get them to stay up (I’m tall/thin with a long torso).  I can’t wear them to work, but I wear them a lot in my time off, but they are too hot to exercise inside in (I live in Canada and have a home gym).

However, I did read a study once that proved that people wearing leggings are more likely to consume more calories in a day than those wearing a “non-stretchy” pant!!

I’m all about stretchy pants. I prefer ones with thicker material that are more pant-like though and I don’t wear them skin tight. I’m wearing a pair at work right now. So much more comfortable than slacks.

Currently sitting at my desk (work from home) in leggings!

I used to be resistant to leggings in public, because far too many people don’t wear them appropriately. I pretty much only wear thicker workout style leggings (with long tops/tunics) when in public.

I’ll fight anyone who says leggings aren’t pants and I’ll win because I have full range of motion because I’ll be wearing my leggings.

Love them! Even maternity jeans can be too tight. For some reason, I’ve found some of my leggings/yoga pants to be way more comfortable! And they’re so much cozier. Definitely a fan. I try not to wear them out in public too much, but lounging around or long trips in the car? Definitely…

I would say an 11+ on a scale of 1-10.  So comfy.  I can’t wear them to work so I have betabrand yoga dress pants and they’re close enough to the same thing.  So I feel like I get to wear yoga pants all day haha. I only wear black though leggings though. My favorite are the hue wideband ones for lounging.  Mostly around the house but I will sometimes wear them out to the store or on the weekend.  But I always put them on when I get home in the fall-winter.  I have fleece lined ones and some thicker ones I just use those for running outside in the cold or when we’ve gone camping in higher altitudes.  I have some thin maternity ones that are the most comfy ones ever but they’re too thin to wear out of the house so I usually wear those at home in the evening.

I would agree it’s easier to gain weight if it’s all you wear because you don’t notice if they feel tighter.  I like to just regularly weigh myself (once a week) to monitor, that’s worked the best for me.  IN the past when I didn’t weigh myself (and I wasn’t wearing leggings back then) it would slowly creep up.

I used to be that girl that said “leggings are NOT pants,” but alas, I have grown. I wear them every single day, to work, dressing it up with cute flats or boots, tunics or sweaters that cover everything and classy accessories. The only time I don’t wear them is on Fridays or the weekend when I wear jeans. I have a love affair with Fabletics leggings and they are generally the only ones I will wear as they keep their shape even though I wear them every day and they fit exceptionally well.

I only wear them when working out, specifically compression leggings. I get itchy, and it’s too hard to stratch my legs with leggings on otherwise.

desertgypsy :  I can relate to the rolling/falling down. I have discovered the active line at old navy as my new go-to for leggings. The go-dry compression are my absolute favorites. I get high waisted and they do not budge. I never have to ix them, plus they make me all nice and smooth in the tummy area since I get the high waisted ones!

merighthere :  I love leggings. Especially the ones I’ve found that I noted above. I wear business clothes daily for work so maybe that’s part of why I love them. They’re comfortable. I also love wearing boots and sweaters in the fall/winter, so I find them to be easier than jeans. I don’t have to constantly adjsut my legings like I do with jeans.

merighthere :  I think they look great on other people, as long as they are pretty neutral in color – big warm sweater, leggings and good looking boots looks so snuggly.  I wouldn’t do it myself though, I don’t think I’ve got the legs for it and would just be paranoid all day long.  Haven’t worn leggings since stirrup pants were cool in 5th grade.  Additionally, I utterly HATE the patterned ones that are so popular.  I don’t understand why they are paired with shirts that don’t match, nor do I understand why anyone wants to look like a walking couch, wallpaper, curtain or wrapping paper.  My sister loves them and I just have to say “glad you like it” and move on b/c my real opinion would be an insult.  To each their own!

Incidentally, lots of people think jeans are just oh so uncomfortable and would rather lounge around in leggings.  I love jeans, so maybe that helps me out smile

I wear black or gray leggings every. single. day.  At work, on the weekends, during vacation.  Zero shame.

I love their utility, they can do it all.  They are sooo good for travel.  Lightweight, wrinkle free, easy wash/dry.  Can do hiking or a nice dinner.  Can be whipped out of a purse and put on under a short dress to enter a church, or because the sun went down and air got chilly.

I just got two new pairs today from amazon to replace old faded ones to pack for a trip tomorrow.
