I don’t like them. I like having pants that have usable pockets.

Love them! I’ve overcome my own body image issues (I’m pear shaped, so leggings accentuate the fact that my ass and thighs are disproportionately big) and now wear them not only to exercise, but also on weekends when I’m dressed casually.
I personally like the leg coverage that comes with 3/4 length leggings. Even though they become 1/2 length on me, it’s better than wearing shorts. I swear every single pair of shorts – no matter how long they are supposed to be – become booty shorts on me because of the long legs, big butt problem.

At home they are everything.

Out in the real world? I have two pairs of super thick ponte like fabric leggings that I am semi ok with wearing, but not any others.

I love leggings, but would only wear them with tops that cover my butt. I still don’t understand how some women still walk around in public wearing leggings like pants…

Am I the only one who thinks leggings and yoga pants are different? I wear leggings with a dress or long sweater/tunic. I wear yoga pants as regular pants, with whatever shirt I feel like wearing. I don’t worry about my butt in yoga pants because they are cotton and thicker/less form fitting that my skinny jeans.

merighthere :  I LOVE leggings! I would live in them if I could. I even wear them as pants (without a shirt to cover my ass). As long as it’s not see through, I am wearing it out!

Recently discovered Lularoe leggings, now I basically live in them! So soft and comfy, great waistband, stretch like crazy so no tightness on my thighs. I do only like to wear them with shirts that give coverage though, or with dresses. Just personal preference. I love yoga pants too, but definitely see those as more normal “pants” that can be worn with short shirts.

I love them but I think it’s a careful line between wearing them trashily and classily.

NuggetJones :  Oh, I was responding to ‘leggings’ as more yoga type pants. Still, tights type leggings can work too as long as they aren’t see through. I agree that yoga pants aren’t any more revealing than the average pair of jeans- but I also wear some tight ass jeans (see earlier post re:my love of jeggings as well).

I’m astounded at the responses here!!

nifer317 :  I’ll bite…what’s astounding? That people like them? That people don’t? That there are people of both opinions posting on this thread?

It would be super astounding if all the responses were ‘I can take or leave leggings, but don’t try tell me there is better legwear than assless chaps’.

Mixed feelings on the fairly benign subject of leggings don’t seem to merit a lot of astonishment, though…

Pretty much live in them.  Don’t see the difference between a solid pair of Lululemon leggings and skinny jeans.

ljm308 :  I don’t think you’re supposed to put anything lularoe in the dryer.  Could be the issue.  But I don’t like the style anyways so… dry away …
