Newlywed here as of last Saturday, 8/25/18! Popping in to (hopefully) share my excitement with other newlyweds on here that finally, we did it!! What a whirlwind of stress and planning. Looking back now it was certainly worth it, but dang does it ever feel good to be able to settle into married life with my best friend with the holidays rolling in!
Anyone else in this exciting phase too?
So many of the threads I see here break my heart, and remind me of past relationships that absolutely crushed me. I hope those of you currently enduring that unspeakable hell push forward, because you never know how bright your future really is until you are looking back.

Congratulations Bee!!! Darling Husband and I just got married 8/31/18 :). All of the stress and planning was so worth it, but I’m definitely happy to be on the other side of the big day and just focus on our marriage and our future together!

cocobee91 : Congratulations to you too! Your date made me realize I have been married for longer than a week, but it still feels like yesterday.

Enjoy and savour being married. We have been married for one year and it’s still exciting

We’ve just passed our ‘1 month anniversary’ (married 4th August) and I am LOVING the transition to being a wife!
I thought I’d miss being a fiancé (I was only engaged for 3.5 months) but I am loving being a newlywed even more! It’s strange, I almost feel like our ‘marriage’ is a tangible object that we have created, and are nurturing and growing.
