@nona49: Well honestly the mutual friend in my personal opinion is correct. Having kids brings a whole different dynamic to your relationship. I have two sons ages 2 1/2 and 19 months old. My relationship with my hubby change so much because before having kids we spent a lot of time together because it was just us and we were just focused on our careers and being newlyweds. You have so much  more freedom then. After our kids were born our roles changed I became a full time stay at home mom and he works full time now. You learn to become a more gentler soul and a more responsible person. at least i know i did. for the first year of each of their lives we didn’t go out much really and sometimes we didn’t really have time for each other as well. so it put a strain on our marriage but going to church and praying has really helped us get back closer to one another. kids are more work but are also such a joy to have. when the time is actually right for the two of you to start a family you will just know.

@nona49: actually we had only been married for about 7 months before we got pregnant. it was a nice surprise since we had stop “trying to conceive” the month before. it was just too much pressure, but we had been together for about two years before we got married
