I’ve been pretty stressed out lately. We’ve got 44 days until the wedding, I’ve spent an entire month on the couch or in bed because I’ve suffered from multiple severe migraines, that even sleep won’t help cure, and we’ve got a million wedding related projects to finish up.
Anyway, Mr. EMG likes to leave me little post its (I have mad love for post its) hidden in different places, like inside the cabinets, drawers, on my pillow, etc. Every once in a while I’ll do the same with little phrases like “I <3 u.” (Yeah, we’re dorks). Well, the other night in the middle of a migraine and bad day, I wanted to leave him a little note to find before he went to bed, so I grabbed a post it and wrote “Sweet dreams my love! I eye (drew a detailed eye) you.” What I meant to say was, I <3 you…oops. Sad thing is I didn’t even realize it until he called me later that night and said thanks for the note and I eye you too. Confused as to what “I eye you” meant he said it was time for me to take a break from wedding stuff and sleep.
44 more days and it’s over…I just hope I don’t lose my mind before that!

I eye you….sounds a little stalkerish =]

Haha! I know. Now he’s replaced his “I love you” with “I eye you.”

that’s too funny. He’s right. Get some sleep and a massage (or something else relazing)…things get a little stressful at this point!

LOL too funny! My mister sometimes writes and hides notes for me. I just randomly found one — written on a Post-It in the MIDDLE of the stack here at work — and now it’s stuck on my monitor 🙂

Good luck and get some rest. Have you tried Excederin Migraine. I take it when I know that I’m going to have a stressful day and it keeps my headaches from coming.

@Vintage2010 I actually have to have prescribed meds for anything to work. I see a “migraine” specialist every other week, but they’ve been so bad lately that they’ve caused numbness in different parts of my body and just days where I can’t get out of bed. Migraines run in my family, my great grandfather, grandfather, and dad all had them pretty bad, so I’m stuck with them too. My mom remembers that I started having migraines when I was about 8 or 9. It sucks.
