@MrsGolden2Bee: You can order them on thicker paper. Do that. Some of them are a little thin, but not if you buy the 100lb paper, i think that’s what it is, that they offer while you’re checking out.

I have 2 invites from Vista for other things (shower and engagement party) one is and one isn’t on the thicker paper. Maybe I can figure out a way to show you the difference.

You can order a free sample pack from Vistaprint – that’s what I did!  Then you can look at a few different paper weights, etc.

I don’t have any pics

but i printed the invites on the ” linen” option. While many reviews say they were flimsy, I thought they were great and I have gotten lots of good feedback about them.

My rsvps were printed on standard card stock from vista print and I thought they were fine too.

Ive been going back and forth on this as well. Personally, I dont think its worth the extra $$$ especially since most of these invites will end up in the trash eventually.

Ok so I had the 100lb paper and the linen. I do think the linen is flimsy I took pics of them both with me holding them from their edge so you can see how much they bend. Usually to step up to the 100lb it’s just a couple extra bucks. You wouldn’t have to glue it to anything to thicken it up this way. Here are the fronts of the 2 samples (sorry they are so dark) left is the 100lb

First the linen finish

Then the 100lb paper

@MrsGolden2Bee: hmm really? I went and made the invitation on line and when I clicked through I got these choices on this screen shot. See the 100lb Matte is the last choice. Maybe it’s not available on the invitation you want 🙁

@MrsGolden2Bee: the regular matte is thicker than the linen though. It’s right in between the two.

I totally recommend 123 print. My invites came out beautiful and thick! I kept upgrading though. Still invites were less than a dollar a piece.
