bakingal22:  SO helpful to me. I guess, in part, because I couldn’t try my ring on beforehand, I was super nervous. I went and tried rings on, yes, but being able to look through these boards and confirm my taste was so great.

That is, in part, why I’ve gone back to the boards I stalked (about white sapphires, in particular) to add pics as I was so hungry for info and photos!

My husband picked my ring out by himself and I didn’t find weddingbee until after I was engaged, BUT I will say that selfies are useful for looking at settings but not size. I can tell you that I am totally able to make my ring look huge or small depending on the angle I take the picture, so sizes can be pretty misleading online. It’s neat being able to see all the different settings though!

Very helpful to me because I wasn’t able to find anything like I wanted IRL to try on. Fiance ordered online.

They’ve been so helpful in picking out a wedding band, just to visualize what different bands would look good with the kind of ring I have.

I don’t find ring selfies helpful at all. What helps? Actually going to a store and trying on rings to see how it looks on my hand. That said, sometimes I like looking at ring pics because some of them are pretty. 🙂

I found them helpful just to see what they would look like. But, I realy liked going to a store and trying styles on to know what they really looked like on my hand.

I found that in-store shopping was a lot more realistic than online shopping. Rings look A LOT different on your finger, in person than they do online.

It was definitely helpful to see rings on a real finger rather than on a website.

What I found helpful was seeing the size of finger plus the size of the stone. Each hand and stone is unique, but it helped me figure out what size would generally look the best on my hand, without constantly going shopping and trying things on.

It helps feed my bling addiction in a way that is not damaging to my bank account 🙂
