Just wondering what heel height you guys are going for & the reason why you decide on that particular height. If you’re married already, let me know if your choice of heel height was good or bad….
I’m thinking about 5 inch just because I want to look a lot taller!!

Mine are about 1.5 inches, solely because I don’t want to deal with my feet hurting during the wedding!

My Fiance is only 4″ taller than me. He didn’t want me looking taller than him so I chose a 3″ heel just to be safe. 3″ are also more comfortable for me to wear for long periods. Trust me if I could wear 5″ heels with a 1.5-2″ plateform to make myself look taller I would. I will be wearing taller heels for our rehearsal/dinner though. I have them picked out and they are about 4.5″ with a 2″ plateform so they will be real comfy.

Mine are 4.5”

I’m 5’4 and FH is 6’3. I’ll be (trying) to rock my 4.5 inch heels!! I never wear heels and they hurt me to walk in them even for an hour so this might not be a great idea but I dont want to look so short next to him. I have a second pair of heels just as tall so I’m going to start wearing them out and while I’m doing house work. Our reception is also a 4 course seated dinner at a restaurant so there wont be dancing…
Actually, I’m going to wear them now and clean lol.

Flats… I’m already taller than him.

My shoe height was kinda an accident. I ordered a pair with what I thought was a 4″ heel but it was actually 5″. They were perfect so I decided to make them work.
I ended up 2 pairs of platform heels. My shoes for the ceremony, pics and reception were 5″. I had a 4″ pair for the dance. Both had a 1″ platform so it felt lower than it was. I loved both and really broke them in prior to the wedding. I literally wore them alll the time…doing chores, getting ready in the am, etc. So glad I did as I never changed into my flats until midnight ish with a noon ceremony. I would say I did pretty damn good for a hoodie and sneaker girl. 😉

@sheepandbear: Same here and I did the same thing to break them in…..it totally worked!!

4.25″ with a 1″ platform. They’re super comfy, plus my Fiance is 6’2″.

Holy cow. Mad kudos to those of y’all can walk in that kind of heel! I.would be a monster in 4″ heels. I wore Toms so totally flat and I was great.

@Barika: I’m worried about the buckle part. I’ve never owned a pair of shoes with one of those buckle things (i posted a pic above.) Do you think wearing them too much might tear at the material, like how sometimes belt loops tear if you wear them too much? lol. And how long did you wear them to break them in????

Mine were 3.25 inches. I’m 5’1. Darling Husband is 5’9 so I wanted all the height help I could get. However, I pretty much was capped out at 3.25 inches bc any higher, I’d have difficulty walking. lol

5+ inches. I loved my heels. I am a heel girl and was so psyched to be able to rock a pair on my wedding day!
