Bump! I’m interested in low-profile e-rings too.

Honestly, I wouldn’t want a ring with that high of a setting. I totally respect bees who love them though, just not for me.

Mine sits pretty high (which used to really annoy me) but I’ve gotten used to it (:

Mine sits very high, but I like it that way and specifically designed it to sit high.

So many people warned me beforehand not to have it set so high as it would catch on things, but it’s never happened in the 15 months I’ve had it. I’ve never found it annoying or had it get in the way.

I thought mine was really high, but I gut used to it.

I don’t know if you can tell from the pictures, it was the only ones I could find.

@sfigu16– I love the side profile of your ring, I think it’s beautiful.

Mine sits pretty low, but my original is higher set. I wore the original one for maybe 2 months before we got my permanent ring and now I wear it as a RHR. At first it was kind of annoying, but I’m so used to it now and I never hit it or catch it on anything. And the original

I asked my jewelry store to set it quite low.

When I got my new set, I purposely went with a low set bezel. I just do not like high settings. The bezel sits about 6mm high, with the top of the stone going to about 7mm.

Here is the side profile:

I didn’t think I wanted a ring that sat as high as this one does, but it has never bothered me at all.  In fact, I love the way it looks and the way it sits on my finger 🙂  Fiance did an amazing job picking it out!

When your solitaire diamond sits high it’s usually in part because the cut is good and makes the diamond itself pretty deep. My round/brilliant cut diamond sits pretty high but the cut is near perfect. In order to achieve full brilliance, the diamond requires a certain depth, from what I understand…
