Not too high not too low?

High enough fit a wedding band flush but low enough to avoid getting caught on too many things.

Mine sits pretty dang high, but I’ve never hit it or got it caught on anything. My set from my first marriage sat high as well, so perhaps I’m just used to that.
(And damn, iPhone pix make my hands look so much older than they do in person. WTH?)
With wedding band:
Loving your new band!

Seriously I love a tall setting.
I always say mine s like a sprinkler head, I love it.

I think mine sits pretty low, I wouldn’t mind if it were a smidge higher, but I love it 🙂
And from the top
It’s a 1.11 center cushion cut diamond.

I wear a 4 and 1/2 size and thought I wanted something really flat. Mine doesn’t sit that high, but I got used to it very quickly.
Excuse the crappy cell phone pictures.

Mine sits low on my setting, my Fiance picked it on purpose so I wouldn’t catch it on anything because I’m really clutzy! It’s 1.02 carats, size 5.

I’m a medical school student, so we specifically chose a very low ring so that I could wear gloves all day without tearing them. Plus, I’m a total klutz (thus the broken index finger in the photos) – anything high and I’d destroy it! Our jeweler adapted a design we like so that it would lie super low but still show off the diamond. I’ve received tons of compliments! I could have gotten away with something a bit higher, but I’m super happy with our design!

Mine sits super low and is completely encased in a weird kind of bezel… weird in a good way lol
I teach food and nutrition and am always using my hands for cooking and practical things so I wouldn’t ever want anything delicate or something that would get really dirty or scratched.
Here is my beauty (Sorry for the crappy side shot, it was with my phone) I chose a hammered gold so that it was already beat up a bit and the center stone is .31 and i have no idea tcw
