When I tried my dress on with my shoes, I was amazed to see I will not need my dress hemmed, not even a half of inch. We were a perfect match!
I am 5’4″ and my shoes have a four inch heel (yeah I’m that girl). So that will put roughly around 5’8″ on wedding day. My Fiance is 6’2″ so I’m not worried about it.
Here are my shoes:
But I’m wondering, how high are your heels? Are you going for style and forgoing comfort or is comfort number 1? Will you be taller or shorter than your groom once you slip into you shoes on?

I’m 5’4 also and wore 4inch heels. My husbands 6’3. I think they were cute and they were super comfortable too. I wore them all day and night for 6+ hours.

@pinkshoes: I love those, I’m all about the bows! I needed a chunk or wedge heel because we are getting married outside.

I did 3.5 inch heels. I wear heels a lot and I HIGHLY suggest bringing another pair of a similar height to swtich to. I wore my first pair from 2pm til 9pm and was soooo grateful for a different pair (same height heel) to get me through the rest of the night. You are standing for a long time and your feet will thank you!

I wore really adorable flats, so I like to think I pulled off style and comfort. 🙂 But I think I should also mention that I’m already 5’11”. And while I wasn’t in danger of being taller than my groom, I didn’t feel the need to be any taller than I already am.

I don’t think I’ll wear hills higher than 2-3 inches, I don’t want to be leveled with Fiance. I’m actually considering wearing flats, but I’m not sure yet.

I keep to around 3inches, with my 6.5 size shoe I just can’t really wear anything higher as my feet just are not long enough.

@knvprincess143: I got married outside too. Most of it was paved (little bricks) so I was pretty much on my toes the whole time cause I didnt want to get stuck between a brick. Then of course there was no walking on grass, had to sort of tip toe there too.

I’m 5’4″ and my fiance is 5’5″ so I’ll be wearing flats. I don’t want to be taller and it’s more comfortable. 🙂

@knvprincess143: I’m most likely wearing flats. Both our ceremony and reception are outdoors and I don’t want my heels to dig in the grass. I’m 4’10” and my Fiance is 6’1″ but we’re used to the height difference.

I am going no higher than 2.5

I’m wearing 4.75″ heels. I’m 5’5″ and Fiance is 6′ 2″. I like to wear heels on a normal basis and I always go for style over comfort. I know, I’m dumb and my feet pay the price.

I’m thinking around 3 inches, because that seems to be the height I can walk in! But I’m hoping to go for a knee-length dress so it won’t really matter for dress length. However, I’m very petite (5’2″) so I’ll need some length alterations for sure!

I have 2 or 3 inch heel.. I am 5’3″ and my Fiance is 6’3″… so a few inches for the ceremony and reception will hopefully help me not look like a midget…. I am looking for some flats to change into for the reception. Hopefully when I bring the dress up for the reception too much wouldn’t be on the floor..

I’m 3″ taller than him, so I’m wearing flats. I just wish they offered more flats in cute styles (though I have found some). There are a lot of heels that I wish the designer would make exactly the same, but as a flat.
