For some reason the DB dress I initially gave me major buyers remorse….
I liked it but didn’t love it. I just couldnbt figure out why.
But now, when I wear it I feel new. I feel like I do when I wear my red wedding dress. I am happy that I decided to be a two dress bride now… I don’t think I could ever be happy without them both. I think I wasn’t in love with my dress because the other was on my mind so often. But now that I have the other as well, its not always in the back of my mind spreading terror lol.
I think the DB dress was a little off putting at first because I was soooo thin. At 5′ 8″ tall, I really grossed myself out. I had no bust, no behind, and no hips. They had to pin up the size 0 on me!
I put on about 20lbs last year. And now that I have filled out a 2 and pushing a size 4, my dresses fit with such flattery that I get all bubbly inside when I wear them. I have made my decision! I love my gowns! I have re-fell in love with my DB dress and will wear it for the ceremony and post ceremony photo ops. SSince the red dress is more of a celebration, I will likely just wear it for the reception as my “party” dress. Both are gorgeous… and there is still plenty of time left to decide. but I have reposted my first gown for those of you to see why I have regained my amore.

I am curious of what others felt about that particular veil with my dress.
I am uploading a pic with me in a birdcage as well.

Seriously georgeous! Your boobs look AMAZING in that dress! I actually like the veil too, and I’m not a fan of birdcage veils usually, but you can pull it off. Congrats on gaining the weight and getting healthy, too!

You look beautiful! And for what it’s worth, I voted for the fingertip veil. I’m a sucker for traditional though so go with your heart! 🙂

I’m giggling at all the boobage comments, but I agree with them! You are rocking that decolletage!

I think the veil decision kind of depends on how “modern” or “glamorous” you want to go–because you could totally rock the old Hollywood glamour look and be totally sexy with the birdcage veil.

Wow, your eyes are stunning! Also, you look great in that dress (and the veil is perfect for it). 🙂

I totally remember your red dress from another post, and it’s hot!
Are you going to wear any type of headpiece with the red dress? I think that will help get a feel for it. If you are going to wear a birdcage at the reception at all, then I would go with the veil for the ceremony with the white dress.

you look gorgeous in that dress. What a unique neckline! love it! birdcage veil was definitely the way to go.
