@MissTillie:  I agree with everyone else, too, I love your ring! It looks like an heirloom, something a future grandchild will be honored to get someday.

this is a splendid post. Ladies, our culture and society has dictated our needs and wants for far too long. It’s terrible that sometimes, we measure our significant other’s love and devotion based on the size of a diamond/number of carats/price of the token of his love and promise. We must remind ourselves of the things that truly matter. When I first got engaged, I felt I had the most amazing ring! Then I started to see bigger rings on this website and on my friends’ finger! I didn’t even know 2 carat rings were common! It was easy to feel, as some of you’ve said….inadequate. That’s sad really. Who cares who has a small or big ring. Stop looking at your ring and look at the man who gave you the ring. He’s sacrificed much and picked a ring out all by himself (A great achievement! Who’s a good boy? he is! haha)

I look at my ring and realised my man put so much thought into it. Ladies, our rings are promises of a lifetime of love and that man of yours is yours for keeps! Cheering all bees on!
