    It is what the sales people tell you so that you will order all of the dresses the same day.

    Honestly, I kinda think it is a scare tactic bridal salon’s use to get BMs to all shop at one store. The only colour wear I think it would really matter would be black, because you wouldn’t want a dress to look faded. But most colours I really don’t think it matters. My girls bought their dresses on different sides of this continent!

    My bridesmaids ordered their dresses from different stores at different times. They all came out the same exact color.

    It can be a big deal. I worked at a salon and saw some that did come in with a noticably color difference. We had warned the bride, but she had declined, so there was nothing we could do for her.

    I didn’t worry about it personally – my bm’s all ordered their dresses from J Crew…and I think that it will be fine!
