I think you should find something pretty and that you like but forget the idea of ever having the “perfect” dress that makes you want to cry blah blah blah. Most people will never cry over a dress. Sure it’s an important dress and you should like it but it’s not like you have to wear the dress the rest of your life.

I know everyone is different but the dress wasn’t the most important factor for me. I picked a dress that I liked but I’m not having dress regret because I don’t like it or envisioned myself in something totally different. I wish I had chosen it in the blush color instead of ivory. My dress cost less than $200 and I’m happy with it. Noone will know that but me. I think what is important is that you feel like a bride in whatever dress you chose to wear.

My wedding dress was the most important thing in the wedding to me. As a PP said, the dress will live on in photos forever. Your great-grandkids will be looking at those photos. I received countless compliments on my dress from wedding guests. And I felt spectacular in it. So yeah, it was worth the high cost.

I had the same kind of issue. I stuck through it and I’m honestly glad I did

My dress was very important to me! It’s what I dreamt about since I was a little girl

Well…it was the ONE thing I was ULTRA picky about…but…it’s now in a box and will probably never be looked at again. So…in the end, it may not be as important as you think, BUT the memories and photos need to be memories of something you were HAPPY with. So it’s up to you. You don’t want to have regrets later, but I wouldn’t go over the top on the budget either. I would have paid maybe 30% more for what I wanted, but certainly not double…

Just went through this and decided to get another dress and sell original. I’m SO happy I did. Apparently, it was important to me.

Did you sell your first dress, the gorgeous Pnina one ? The second ( Lazaro? ) was perfect for your location/venue of course.
