DH knows the basics about ovulation, high temperatures in the morning, folic acid, EWCM (jeez, this just made me realize he knows a lot!)but we were taking it easy and totally stress free prior to my miscarriage… Now post miscarriage he is more involved and a little more pressured, and I already told him we are not wasting any precious sperm on BJ.

I get too excited about things to not share them with my DH! We just started charting so I told him I had a few symptoms that suggested we should BD and he was of course all for it 🙂 I think he would love to not worry about anything and have it happen right away, but since I read TCOYF and shared some excerpts with him he’s startng to get that it’s not always that simple and he prefers charting and getting pregnant sooner and losing some of the magical surprise factor. He always asks why it takes the body awhile to regulate itself after stopping BC (and how you can go a few months without ovulating) if girls he knew accidentally got pregnant by missing one pill 🙂 I keep trying to remind him that it usually takes some time because I don’t want him to get discouraged if it doesn’t happen for us right away. He can’t wait to be a Dad though, so I do know he’s into the process although he would probably prefer to not know some of my Too Much Information symptoms like CM. However, last night he asked me if I’d had any spotting that day which I thought was funny and sweet. His brother just had a baby a few months ago and he was trying to slyly ask all of these questions about how to take care of the baby etc. It was adorable because I knew he was asking because we had discussed TTC immediately after our wedding. I doubt anyone else picked up on it though! Just today he sent me an article about 4 common money mistakes parents make so it’s definitely on his mind! I can’t wait to see his reaction if we are ever lucky enough to become pregnant!
