@icetea:  I think my Fiance feels the same way! He wants to help (he wanted the big wedding) but has NO FREAKIN CLUE what I have been going through the last year lol! Luckily, I have a wedding planner to assist me!

My Fiance has shown interest in the men’s attire, food tastings, and cake tastings! Seems to be a common trend lol…

@KimmySumShuga:  wow sounds familiar lol my FH is the same way and i was getting my feelings hurt but he said this is your day and i know nothing about this girlie stuff so go nuts and do what you want the only thing im going to be looking at all night is you. he could care less about the decor. he says he will only get in my way about things he knows nothing about. so im on my own lol. its kinda a good feeling ; )

When wedding planning, Fiance couldn’t care what I did. He SORT of cared about what he would wear, but not really.

Since changing plans he has been ALL OVER IT. Wanting to know what I had in mind, if I looked at restaurants, photographers, dreses, suits, what he likes and doesn’t…. I am not going to lie, I love that he cares. But also, I get why he didn’t care earlier- he didn’t think it was “neseccary” to have that stuff

My Fiance is really involved and super helpful.  We’re doing tons of DIY, he’s been helping me (especially with technical issues); and has been excited, supportive, and this whole proccess has really been great for making our relationship even stronger.  I think if you’re a bride that has “always dreamed of getting married”, it’s much more difficult for a groom to participate because you’ve already got a preconceived idea of what things should be, plus most guys just don’t care that much.  I consider myself very lucky.

@MissJuicy: I don’t think  my Fiance has a clue what’s going on!! He doesn’t know about colour schemes or what my centrepieces are…we have not even thought of our first dance yet!! He has left all the planning to me…which in a way is good cos I get everything I want  but I could really used some help with planning this wedding!! The only thing he has done is gone for his suit fitting and thats only cos I had to remind him!! Final suits fittings are next week and I’ve told him that he has got to round up the groomsmen to have them done…I expect I will be doing that as well!!

i don’t think it’s cos he doesn’t wanna marry me…he is just happy to turn up on the day and get on with it and doesn’t want the stress! baring in mind I have been a bit of a bridezilla!! Lol! I don’t know maybe it’s just a man thing x x

@HisNightOwl2014:  well technically she’s my DOC but she has gone above and beyond and we meet at least once a month to discuss the wedding plans! I really lucked out with her! I paid $800 for her and her assistant to do pretty much everything the day of including getting the use of all her decor she has available. She was running a special when I booked her.

@sugarpea:  Yeah.. he kind of gave me a side-eye look, but I explained to him there won’t be TONS of burlap, just the banners >.>

He was okay with that.

Totally involved! Definitely doesn’t do much in the way of research, phone calls, etc. but he definitely cares about the details and offers his opinions. Knowing how he is, I wouldn’t go forward with a decision without discussing it with him.

Not very involved! He has had some strong opinions about a couple things (food and our first dance song), but for the most part he has been pretty hands-off. Even when I ask him for opinions, about half the time he doesn’t want to give one.
