How is everyone doing in your planning?
I feel like I’m a tad behind but not too bad. I’ve had a horrible cold for about 2 weeks and I haven’t done much, but it’s starting to get better so I’m ready to get to work. Our RSVP deadline is Monday, and I’m still waiting on about 10 people. Our guestlist is actually a little bigger than I thought. FI’s family is from out-of-state and I figured a bunch of his cousins and aunts wouldn’t make it, but they are coming. They told me they never miss a good party!

@JacobsMama: I feel like I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel with all the wedding planning. our rsvp deadline is dec 1, and weve only had 6 people rsvp. no seems to rsvp for anything in this area, it is super frustrating. but i will def be blowing up people phones in a week and if they dont rsvp then they wont have a seat. lol

We just had our RSVP deadline pass last week and everyone replied on time.
I have my third dress fitting coming up in the first week of Dec, and I have to make some last few purchases for the ceremony (e.g. candles and vases), make a card box, make table numbers, write the ceremony/ceremony program/menu/place cards, write the vow, make playlists (we are doing iPod ceremony/reception), get my mom’s dress altered, and buy a pair of shoes for my Fiance.
Oh, and remember to practice our first dance together. (haha)
Other than my Future In-Laws being completely rude/uncooperative/irresponsible/possibly-not-attending-the-wedding, all is working out fine and on schedule.

I’m feeling pretty good! My dress is in Florida, so I can’t even start on alterations until we’re down for Thanksgiving. Fortunately, the alterations I need are super minor.
Next month I will pay the balance on all of my deposits and confirm my salon appointments. Other than that, I really don’t have that much to do until the end of December!
I’m lucky that I don’t have to deal with the RSVP issues. We’re having an intimate wedding, so I have known who is coming since like May, lol. And after the wedding, we’re having casual family receptions, but I’m not too worried about precise RSVPs for those, since they’re just casual barbecue parties. And my mom and Future Mother-In-Law are handling the RSVPs for those anyway. 🙂

I started a job as a teacher in July, and ever since then I’ve had to slow down on the wedding planning. January is going to be here before we know it, and I’m scared that I won’t be ready.

It’s going well for me. I need to book a make up artist and have my dress fitted. Then I just need all the little details – guest book, card holder, place cards, etc. The big things are all done!

Invitations are going out today!!
I’m starting to get a bit stressed as we’re just over two months out and I haven’t solidified everything with the photographer and DJ (I’m good but Fiance is still waffling which is driving me batty).
I have a quote with the florist and am going back to see her soon for a mock up as I may make a few tweaks.
Luckily my venue is all in one, so I just need my music, flowers and officiant, everything else is taken care of including they provide me with an event coordinator.

Everything is going really well. I haven’t been stressed yet. I think a short engagement has been the trick to stress free wedding planning.
