I’m not sure, however I do know that I would hate being address and Mr and Mrs Grooms first and last name so that is out.

I’ve only ever heard Mr. and Mrs. Grooms First and Last Name (like Mr. and Mrs. John Doe). Ugh. Apparently, women gave up all aspects of their name and merge into a feminine form of their husband.

I’d like them just to say “John and Jane Doe.”

But, let’s not get into how I’m flip-flopping on changing my last name.

    No, I’ll still be me.

Isn’t it nice that we all have choices?

I didn’t change my name, so they just said, “the newlyweds, Darling Husband and Sarah!”

I don’t even think we were introduced at the religious service?  We kissed at the peace and then we had communion… so at the end, it was just a normal dismissal.

I’m not changing my name, so I think we’re going to be introduce as “The first time as a married couple…” and then both of our full names.  It does seem strange though, considering tradition.  I’ve considered just having it be just our first names, but I kind of want people to know I’m not changing my name, so that’ll be the easiest way?  I guess I’m undecided.

I didn’t change my last name – so it was:  introducing  the new husband and wife:  HisFirstName + HerFirstName
