I think whatever you want is correct 🙂 we also have dudes in grey and ladies in navy. We are trying to figure out tie colors right now. Leaning towards navy for the groomsmen and green for the groom.

We went to pick out suits a few weeks ago and the guy helping us suggested the groom where white (or ivory if your dress is) or black for ties and vests.  We were thinking of doing red for Fi but the consultant reminded us that it would probably clash is pictures.

I would suggest something mute if you want to go with a colored tie, or grey to match the suits.

We were planning on having the vest and tie color be different for the groom vs groomsmen — the BMs are in navy blue, and the GMs will have navy vests and ties, so the groom would have black or white vest and tie.

Then he made it a whole hell of a lot easier by deciding he’d just wear his Army uniform, so that settled that 🙂

Simple, we aren’t having any Best man or groomsmen. Or any Maid/Matron of Honor or BM’s either!

We are doing gray suits and our girls are in blue dresses. We are doing blue and green ties and my Fiance is in a different pattern tie. The guys will all have white shirts.

Groomsmen are in the tie on the left, Fiance is in the one in the middle and the fathers will be in the one on the right.

He wore the full suit, but the groomsmen didn’t wear the jacket.

Another navy/grey wedding over here! I think the men will all end up wearing navy with their grey suits, although I’d like Fiance to wear ivory.. he still hasn’t decided, though.

@LovebirdsSC:  They don’t have to be different. Often, they outfit for all the men is exactly the same. It’s up to you.

@mrsSonthebeach:  Haha originally my Fiance wanted to just wear the same thing as the groomsmen. I asked him, “How will I know which one is the groom then??! I could marry the wrong guy!”

He didn’t think it was as funny as I did 😛

We’re having our Groomsmen wear a black suit w/ a black vest & a solid purple tie.. Fiance will be wearing a black suit w/ a purple vest and a striped purple tie.. I think the dad’s will have the black suit & black vest with a different striped tie from Fiance. Similar to what ethorn13 is doing, that looks really nice!

Our groomsmen are wearing black suit/white shirt/black tie with a white bout to match the BM’s bouquets, and my Fiance is wearing a classic black bowtie (which is what he has always wanted) with a burgundy dahlia bout to match my bouquet. Fathers are wearing black suits and white ties and their bouts will be all white.
