How late can someone be before it’s unacceptable?

Depends. If we’re meeting out somewhere, like 15 minutes. If it’s coming to my house to hang out, I’ll give them 30 minutes.

15 minutes without notice and it depends on how the arrangement was made and who it is with. There’s no way I’d get past a 30 minute mark with someone who’s done it before. Big nope!

Depends on the reason. If for no reason, and there’s no communication before or right after the meeting time, my tolerance is 5 mins before I start getting annoyed. 10min max. And I would consider them rude for not keeping me up to date on what’s happening.

If there is prior communication or even just a text saying sorry I’m going to be x mins late, I don’t mind waiting longer.

If someone’s regularly late, I have little patience for them then.

I once waiting for a guy on a second date for an hour lol… he was driving an hour to meet me in my city and the cafe was very close to my place. He was stuck in traffic on the highway which I can see on the maps and I know there’s sometimes heavy traffic. So I said that’s fine. I just sat there and enjoyed my coffee, it’s a nice relaxing Saturday afternoon, no rush to be anywhere. He kept me up to date and was very apologetic when he arrived (maybe overly so lol).

For me this depends,  my friend is chronically late for everything, like an hour. It took me ages to get used to because I’m chronically early.

10 minutes with no updates, up to 30 with them, but it’s very annoying. I think it’s particularly rude if it’s a one on one and not a group setting and you’re waiting all alone!

I consider being more than 15 minutes late with no contact rude. Message me and let me know you’re held up and I’m happy to wait. With no contact I’d leave after 30 minutes.

15 minutes. People who are habitually late drive me insane.

15 minutes max without any communication, 30 minutes with an excuse.
