I use to get AF religiously the first week of the month for as long as I can remember then my period completely changed back in August showed up two weeks late. Thought for sure I was pregnant by some miracle even though we only BD liked twice in July.

And now AF shows up in the middle of the month like clockwork, give or take a few days.

My cycle is always, always 40 days long. On the dot, perfectly timed, every month, for the past 10 years (first couple years were a little wonky with skipped periods and stuff but it normalized eventually). It really depends on what is “normal” for you.

When I was around 12 I was really concerned because it seemed that my period was always “late” (I mean give me some slack I was young and nervous and 40 days is a long cycle) and I went to a doctor and he told me to start tracking it. Turns out, I’m never late. The months are just too short 😉

I’ve skipped entire periods before because my cycle has always been all over the place. Thankfully I was single at the time so had no reason to worry. I eventually went to the doctor as it got annoying not knowing when it would arrive. He put me on a low dose birth control pill and I’ve been like clockwork for the last 3 years.

I was 2 weeks late before. I chalked it up to stress caused by my dad being sick and dying.

As with other bees – I’ve skipped months on a few occasions for seemingly no reason. 35 days is also not abnormal for me (it swings randomly from 21 days to about 36. Which is a pain).

I’ve also had 3 periods in 6 weeks a few times, which was worse.
