(Closed) How late is too late for invites?

texaslemon:  I think you’ll be fine as long as you sent out save the dates. I sent mine out 7 weeks before my wedding, which gave them 4 weeks to RSVP and two weeks after the RSVP date to track down stragglers…which is what I’m doing now.

I think if you get them out ASAP you will be fine. Have you considered going to a local stationary store where you can feel the paper and see samples without waiting for mail? I know there are many retailers that carry Carlson Craft invitations, and they have a fairly wide variety of designs with books of samples. Hope you find something you love!

I would honestly get them out by the end of this month. With your wedding being near Thanksgiving, I would get them out ASAP. I know ours is Nov 15 and we already sent ours out, but we have about 50% coming from out of town. 

As you are already nearing the 8 wk/2 month mark before your due date back, definintely get them out ASAP in the next week or two max.
