I am 25, no kids. If I had to drive an hour home, I would leave at 11, or midnight if the party was in full swing.
I attended a wedding that started at 3, but it was on a Saturday. The older people and people with children were virtually all gone by 8 or 9. The young people were all still there by the time I left at midnight. We had to drive an hour to get home.
People will leave earlier, most likely, because a lot of people will haev work or school the next day.

I went to a wedding last night, we stayed until just after 11pm as it was an hour drive out of the city.

@carrotstick: We had a Sunday wedding and tbh guests didn’t stay as long as I would’ve liked. It does as a PP said really depend on what your guests like and their circumstances, though sometimes you can just never tell.

We had a Sunday evening reception (6pm start) and some guests left around 9pm (wedding ended at 10pm) and we still had some people staying even after that. We were done and cleaned up around 11:30. I was pooped.

If I were a guest at your wedding, I’d stay until it is over. It’s your wedding, I can make a sacrifice for this one day you’ll have 😉
