Me and my now Fiance originally date in high school for about a year but then broke up. In July 2011 (nearly eight and a half years later) we got back together, reestablished the relationship the next month, got engaged in late October of that year and then mid to late March of last year was when I got pregnant (but it wasn’t until April when I was far enough along for it to show up on the home test). The baby was born via an induction two weeks before Christmas.

We had been together 2 years when we decided to start TTC, 3 years when Dear Daughter was born and 6 years when we got married.

When we are actively TTC it will be short of 2 years. This thread is really interesting.

@ChuckNorris: It’s not all that interesting, but sure! We started dating casually in June of 2008 and weren’t careful. When we found out I was pregnant, we moved in together to see if we could “make it work.”
It worked! I love my husband very very much and although it’s no fairy tale, my little oopsie was the best thing that ever happened to me.
Our wedding invites said: “We may have done everything backwards, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t beautiful.”

Darling Husband and I have been together for 7 years. Not planning on TTC for another 2 years; so that’ll put us at 9 years until starting to TTC, maybe 10 years before we have our first baby. 🙂

We will be together 5 years total about a month after our LO is here. We decided to NTNT after about a year (we were already engaged) b/c we knew it’d take us a while. We actively tried for 2.5 years before finally getting pregnant last July.

When our baby comes in June we would have been together 9 years and married for 1 and a half 🙂
