Liss13:  we started TTC after 4 months of marriage. We bought our first house then as well, so that was the plan to start TTC after we moved in. It then took 6 mos. to get pregnant. We’ve been together for 7 years.

I went off BCPs about 5-6 months after the wedding.  It took another 6 months to actually conceive.  So, we announced the pregnancy a year after the wedding.

If all goes as planned, we’ll have been married 1 year and 3 months when we TTC in October. We’ll be 36 and 37 by then, so we can’t wait too long.

We plan to start trying fall/winter 2015 or early 2016 depending on our situation (: At that point we’ll have been married about a year and a half and will be either 24 or 25 depending on when we start trying.

We waited 8 years and had lots of fun as a couple.  We then had our daughter and have had lots of fun as a family.

We starting TTC right after getting back from our honeymoon.  14 months later, we’re still not pregnant.  But it’s been really nice having that time as a couple!!!

Liss13:  We’ve been married since May and will probably try next summer. I am now 32 and he will be 39 in September, so it’s pretty much crunch time. The only thing stopping us from trying right now is that we would like to be in our own house first, which we plan to be in the fall/winter. I just got my BC prescription renewed for one year and when that’s done I don’t plan on getting another one.

Liss13:  We were going to wait a year and a half before TTC, then a year, and now we might start trying as soon as we sell our house and move into a new one. We’re just seeing where our lives are going.

Well, we didn’t. We had a 3 year old when we got married and started TTC for #2 on our wedding night.

We are planning to start next July, so just about 2 years after our wedding.  We will have been together for 15 years at that point!

We’re getting married in about a month, and planning to start TTC next summer.  We will begin house hunting after the wedding, and I really want to close on our house before we start trying for a baby.  We will be 27 and 32, together for 6 years at that point.

This year will be our fourth wedding anniversary, and baby will arrive four months after that. We got married at 24 and baby will be born when we’re both 29. We wanted some time to travel, go to grad school, and have some just us/growing up time before we introduced a baby to the mix.

DH is in medical school, so unfortunately medical school determines when we start trying. The plan now is to wait until after he’s been matched for residency, which will be in March 2016. So the earliest time we could actually have a little one will be after we’ve been married for 4 1/2 years and we’d be 27. I know it sounds young to most, but it’s difficult when many of our friends/family have already had or are currently pregnant with their first, second, or even third child. And these people are YOUNGER than us! I’ve been having baby fever like crazy, but we just feel it would be irresponsible to have a child right now.
