bibber:  We waited almost a year after we got married before TTC started. I went off BC in September, and our 1-year was in October. We didn’t have good timing until November; however… so, a year really.

Our first baby will be born in December 2016!

1.5 years of marriage.  We wanted to pay off our cars and have a good downpayment for a house. 6 weeks pregnant now. Eek! I hope it sticks!

bibber:  We waited almost 5 years. We got married young, at 22, so we’ve spent the last 5 years living it up together! It’s been a lot of fun – I’m glad we waited and got to do the things we did.

It was about 3 months.  We had been together already for 7 years before we got married, so we weren’t concerned about having that newly wed “just us” period.  The only reason we didn’t start immediately after the wedding was because it was near the holidays and naively thought that if I got pregnant right away I’d feel like crap during the holidays.  2.5 years later and we’re still TTC.

A little over a year cause DH felt too young and wanted some “us time” first.  Turned out we got a lot more than we bargained for since it took us 3.5 years to finally get pregnant.

I came off contraception when we got back from my honeymoon (3 weeks after our wedding) so end of October. I’m 3 months pregnant now.

To me, I didn’t know how long it would take to conceive and the idea of the two of us having children had always been one of the central themes in our relationship… I didn’t see any real upsides to us waiting, so we just went for it.

My Fiance and I will probably try a few months after the wedding. We aren’t in a hurry, but I want to have another one before I am 30 and I will be 29 next year.

Little over 4 years, got married at 26 and was in no rush. Due a few weeks after our 5th anniversary.

We stopped preventing the month before the wedding.  We started actually trying the month of the wedding (tracking periods and paying attention to when we should make a point to BD).  We were 30 and 31 when we got married and had already been together for 12 years, living together for six of those so we didn’t see any need to have “just us” time before TTC.  We thought it would happen quickly for us, but we’re about to start our 8th cycle and still no BFP.

3 years because we wanted to finish school. However, it took us another 3 years and multiple rounds of fertility tx to conceive so I really wish we had started earlier.

2 years! Actually went off BC about a week after our 2nd anniversary. Baby’s due date is 2 months before our 3rd anniversary.

We waited 5 and a half years after we got married. I was always nervous of the thought of giving birth and I just kept putting it off.My mom died in 2014 and then I realized life is too short and if I wanted a baby then to just go for it. Best decision of my life as I now have a son who is turning 1 on the 20th of this month! And child birth did hurt but not enough for me to be afraid to ttc again! Lol

Our wedding is this summer and we will be trying from our wedding night!  I’ll be nearly 39 and Fiance 41 so we don’t have time to wait.
