As soon as we got to our honeymoon suite.

Our wedding ends at about 3 pm, then the hotel gives us a room for the night. I don’t know what we’ll do for the hours in between. I wonder if we can check in right away.

Pretty much immediately after we got to our hotel room and he managed to finally get me out of my dress.

A day or two later. Our wedding night didn’t exactly go as planned (My BIL crashed it. He wound up getting belligerently drunk and tried to snuggle up in our bed.) but neither of us really expected to get it on anyway. We figured we’d be exhausted and we were right. If I remember correctly, we actually consummated our marriage after Darling Husband made some comment about not really being married until we made it “official”.

@GreenEyedMoon:   I have a question, maybe I’ll make a spin off if there’s not an easy answer: how do brides get out of their dress?!

We did about an hour after we got  to our hotel. We were both exhausted, but sweaty from dancing and decided to shower together. At that point, there was no reason to pass it up.

@redheaded Your husband should be able to handle it. ๐Ÿ™‚

@redheadem:  Well, I work at a renaissance festival and so wear corsets fairly frequently, so Darling Husband has had a bit of practice.  We got into the room, and then I coached him on where to find the ends of the corset strings, and he figured out the rest.  Mostly.  He got it loose enough for me to get out on my own, and then I ran into the bathroom to change out of my Spanx and into my sexy lingerie.

The next night. We were busy at 8am. We didn’t get home until 11pm. We were just exhaused. As for the dress, husband was able to get it off.

If he can lace up shoes, he can figure out a corset. ๐Ÿ™‚

Probably an hour or so after we got back to the hotel. We sat and drank champagne and opened our cards first, lol.
