It was almost 2 months for us. I’d been wanting to say it for awhile and then we went to a party. After drinking quite a bit at the party I said it and he said it back. The next morning I was worried that he wouldn’t remember because he’d been drinking too so I just went on like it hadn’t happened but he said it to me again that month and it felt like we’d been saying it forever.

Now we say it a lot, multiple times a day, and it’s just as special every time!

he said it first, after about 3 months of being together. it was after we had come home from a new years eve get-together with my friends and while other details of that night are a little hazy, i remember the moment he told me that he loved me so vividly. i didn’t say it back for a week or two because i wanted to wait until i felt absolutely sure.

I told him I loved him at 6 months. He told me he loved me at 2 years.

7 months for us, though we both acknowledged we fell in love around the 4 month mark. We waited to make sure what we were feeling was real. I started to get kind of panicked about him not saying it around the 6 month mark but finally, finally at 12am on my 24th birthday, he told me. I’ve heard it every day since. Smile

4 months for us. I think I said it first, but he had actually implied it in a conversation I overheard about a month earlier.  But first time to each other was about 4 months around the same time we first kissed.

He told me exactly 3 months from our first date, then kissed me immediately after and it was one of those moments that I felt the all those wonderful emotions just running through my body! My knees got weak!

It was about a month after we started dating.  We were in a LDR, and I had flown out to visit him for a week.  On the morning that he was getting ready to take me back to the airport, he said it.  I was beyond happy…but I don’t think either of us was surprised.  He’d already asked me how I would like moving out there to live with him, and on our very first date he randomly asked me if I saw myself being the type to have a big wedding!!  I never believed it before when people said they “just knew” when they’d met the One, but here we are two and a half years later, happily married!!

It was about 2 months in that Fiance first said it to me, and I gave him the “you have three heads” look of shock. He had just had a semi major surgery and was drugged for the pain. He had just told me to be quiet because he didn’t want to sleep in the library. No, we weren’t in a library! lol. So I was sure it was the drugs talking. I was just leaving to class when he said it, and since I was sure it was the drugs, I said Ok. go back to sleep!

It was about 7 months later that it was brought up again. I was on a trip thta he wasn’t on, and after a few long hours on the phone with him, he said it again. He wanted to be sure that if anything happened to me, I would know how he felt. ๐Ÿ™‚ He also said that the first time he said it he really meant it, and when I left he was sure I wasn’t coming back. He thought he scared me away! lol!

We had a whirlwind, yet long distance romance from the start. I met him while he was visiting his brother, where I lived. We started talking on the phone, not really thinking a lot would come of it being that he lived about 5 states away from me. But we hit it off and spent up to 4 hours a night talking to each other.

A month after our first meeting, we had our first date and that is when he told me he loved me. We had learned so much about each other. Talking on the phone for that many hours a day is a better way to get to know someone! You are forced to get to know the person. We would think of like 5 new questions a day to ask the other person. Within days, I knew we were incredibly compatible. Within a month, we loved each other, even though we’d only seen each other twice in person. ๐Ÿ™‚

We were together about six months – although four of that was long distance in between university years, and we lived about 10 hours apart so only saw each other one weekend that summer. He said it first, the night we got back to school. I knew I loved him too but I didn’t say it immediately (thinking back… maybe dumb) but I didn’t want him to think I said it just as a reply. I said it later that night though!

We were both working as international flight attendants and we were placed on same rests on our San Fran flight…We had been dating for a little over 2 months back at home and it was our first flight away together! I remember his exact words……(this took place in the crew rest bunks- we were sleeping next to each other’s bunk and secretly had the curtains drawn so we could see each other..it was really romantic…

UNTIL HE SAID

“I think I’m in love with you”

I froze for about a minute.

My mind was thinking, “You think??? What do you mean you think?? Why can’t you just say it normally without the “think”?

Instead I just gave him a big hug and a kiss. And we held each other’s hand tightly under the curtains next to our bunks for a few hours as we rested. I remember my heart beating so fast I couldn’t sleep that flight.

If I remember correctly, I told him I loved him when we spent our first night together in San Fran ๐Ÿ™‚

Now I laugh it off but it was kinda funny. I guess we had only been seeing each other for 2 months and he didn’t wanna come out too strong , to the point where I’d freak out…cuz at that point I didn’t express myself clearly to him and maintained my distance with him…We still love each other dearly to this day.

After a few months, when we got back from our first mini vacation together. We were talking about the future and how I might have to move in a few months and I said that I didn’t know if I should move home or try to stay near him, but since I wasn’t sure where this was going, I might go home. He said, “No, don’t move home, I want you here because I am in love with you.” It might be my favorite relationship moment? I knew he had wanted to say it for a while, but the time was not right. I have heard it each day since!
