Just curious how long it took for you to get your e-shoot photos back? We took ours almost two weeks ago and I’m starting to get antsy. We were told they would be on up their blog within a week, and now that we’re getting close to two weeks later, I’m wondering when it would be okay to message them to find out when they will be up, or if I should just leave it alone and keep waiting. It’s complicated by the fact that it’s Thanksgiving this weekend (in Canada) and I do understand that they are probably busy with family so I’m assuming that no work will get done in the next two days. I just don’t want to be pushy and make them angry when we still have a wedding to do with them.
Oh and just to clarify, the week deadline set by them was for a selection of photos to be up on their blog, not having all of the photos done.
thanks for the advice!

- Wedding: May 2011 - Bartram's Garden
Ours took almost a month! I would’ve been really frustrated, but our photographers moved to a new house and took two trips during that time, so I think they were just really busy.

My photographer was very quick and only took a few weeks. He took about a month for the album and CD for the wedding.

It took 15 days for ours. She had originally said 2 weeks max, but had a family emergency and told us before the 2 week deadline that it would probably take an extra day. If she hadn’t warned us of the delay I probably wuld have been a little peeved but I appreciated the warning even though she was only a day late.
And if your photog told you they’d be blogged by now of course you can send a message to see what’s up!

We had our e-shoot Aug 22nd. Our photographer just now opened up the online gallery for us to view and order prints, but we’re still waiting on the disk of images. They did post a blog post two weeks after the shoot.

Thanks for the info!
I was really surprised when they said a week for the blog, but that also definitely got my hopes up. If I had been told 2 or 3 weeks from the start I would’ve never had a problem, I think I’m just bummed because it’s almost double the time they said it would take, and they haven’t messaged me to explain why there’s a delay. Plus a little bit of me is peeved cuz I have the photographer on facebook and his status the other day said something along the lines of “glad I spent the past few days relaxing, time to actually do some work now” and that kinda bugged me 😛
I guess I’ll send them a msg if it’s not up by Tuesday and I’ll give them a break for the holiday.

@summerbride12: Lol believe me, I feel your pain. Our photographers had a wedding every weekend in September and are getting married next Friday so they’ve been soooo busy. I knew it was going to be like that but it still sucks because I’m not patient at all. Then I would see updates about them relaxing or whatever and I’d be think NOOOOO don’t relax!! Edit my photos PLEASEEEEE!!!

Ours were up on the website in a day or two. I think I had the actual DVD in hand a week or two after.

Four weeks for ours. THey estimated 3 weeks, but we told them we weren’t in a hurry and I think they took us at our word
