I ordered mine Mid August, got it late November (3.5 months) and the replacement was ordered late November and turned up late February (3 months) so 4 seems pretty reasonable. I was quoted 4 months for Sottero and Midgley.

The only shop around my area is David’s Bridal, so I just ended up getting my dress there.  They do things quite a bit different, so I got my dress within a week or picking it out.

4 months seems super fast actually. Most stores told me 6-9 months to get it in. But I ended buying mine from Etsy so it took like 2 months 🙂

I went dress shopping 9 months before my wedding and they acted like they were doing me a favor by making sure I could have a dress in time. It didn’t end up being a problem, though. Ordered in October, arrived in March.

4 months sounds quick! I ordered mine a couple weeks ago and was told it wouldn’t be in until March so a little over 6months

My dress is going to take 8 months. It really depends on the designer.

The boutique I ordered mine from advised me it usually takes 9 months to get in dresses from my designer so I was so glad I started shopping early! I ordered in June and I expect it to be in for Feburaryish.  I live in a different country to my wedding location and bridal boutique so I have 2 months between my dress coming in and my actual wedding date which is only just enough time considering I can’t organise a trip back for alterations until I’m sure it has come in and I want to leave enough time in case I need 2 rounds of alterations.
