We were told to allow 4 weeks. Longer if they needed to source any of the stones.

We bought the stone elsewhere, and the setting was supposed to take 3-4 weeks. But I asked him for pics of a wax model first, so that will delay it by one week. Should be getting it in 3-4 weeks now! That’s a pretty common timeline from what I’ve heard from jewelers, one was 10 days.

I didn’t have my Engagement Ring custome made, but we sent it off July 4 to have the wedding band made. Still haven’t heard back from them. Also dropped Fiance ring off at at different jeweler 2 months ago. Still waiting.

It took just about two weeks from the intial appointment to get the mold and then once that was approved it was about another two weeks until the ring was ready. So all in all about a month.

He started emailing with the jeweler about 4 months out, told him what he wanted (style, center diamond size, etc). From there he was emailed a CAD drawing/design to approve.  They started work and about 2 months out is when he finally clued in my BFF because he needed help getting my ring size.

I guess I’d say it was probably about 4-6 weeks for the actual construction.
