I know I *just* got married, but I am dying to see my pro pics!! How long did take for you to get yours back? I understand some photogs send ‘teaser’ pics first – when did you get those and how long after did you get the rest? Thanks bees if I have a rough idea of a timeline maybe I’ll be less anxious about it! Lol

@Weetzie: I got married a little over 3 weeks ago and I’m still waiting on my pro pics.. Our photographer said to give him a few weeks so I’m waiting anxiously.. I heard it ranges from 4-6 weeks depending.

We got the teaser in like 4-5 days (2 pics) and the whole edited bunch about 4-5 weeks after.

Standard turnaround time for most full time pro wedding photographers range from 6-10 weeks but this will vary based on how busy your photographer is and to what extent they edit your images. Basic edits will be finished much earlier than more extensive editing.

@Weetzie: I got mine back in 3 weeks. Honestly, I REALLY wish it had taken longer and the editing had been a higher quality! I’ve been married 5 years now, and in the end, what does it matter how long I waited? I wish I could have waited months or years and the editing been better. Ya know? So enjoy the wait!

We got a blog entry while we were on our honeymoon, and then a slideshow of some more images a week later. Our gallery was available online probably 3-4 weeks after the wedding. We got married in “off season” though and it was her only wedding that month.

I was somewhere around 6-8 weeks, which is also my turnaround for my clients as well. I try to get a preview on the blog/facebook within a week though.

I was told about three weeks…. and we had them less than a week later! One of my friends just got married and she got a few teaser pics (maybe 5?) a week or two later.

Our photographers posted an in camera preview the day after our wedding but our Photography Reveal Party wasn’t until a month after our wedding. I was content with the timely turnaround.

Two weeks for our pro sessions, but there wasn’t much editing to do (just how we wanted it).
