    Mine took over a month, but in small sittings.  I did a pocket fold invitation, with a green backing on the inside cover, then ivory paper with information that I designed and printed myself.  It all needed to be cut and assembled.  Then I had three inserts (reply, reception, map, and tickets to get into the private park in an envelope, which I embossed with a logo).  Then I did a belly band, with a little square of paper with another square of paper with our monogram on top.

    Essentially it was getting the prototype together that took the time.

    Once I’d figured it out, I cut out all the pieces myself.

    Then I invited people over to assemble them, and that only took about 3 hours.

    Hahaha… and now I’m starting to think that saying I would make my sister-in-law’s invites as well wasn’t such a good idea.  A labour of love that you kind of forget just how much work it was…
