Soton85 :  first clomid cycle, yes. No side effects except for major mood swings.

Soton85 :  no, nothing different! It was so weird, my temperature started dropping at cd10 and I started to get my usual ovulation symptoms at cd11. That’s when I told my husband we had to BD every day. On cd13 I recorded my lowest ever temperature, it went up a little on cd14 and then up a lot on cd15 so I gave him a break then!

I think you have a solid case for getting assistance to ovulate more regularly – do you have records of your 11 cycles? I would definitely take all that info to your doctor when you’re ready to start trying again, and see what can be done to help you.

Sorry to hear this! I actually was just put on clomid after trying for 11 months and 2 chemicals. I also ovulate later (like cd19 or 20). If it puts your mind at ease, go talk to a doc! Clomid wasn’t as bad as what I thought it would be, but everyone is different. I did experience hot flashes, mood swings and felt groggy/tired. It was a pain, but it’s only for 5 days and then I felt totally normal after I stopped it. I would take it again if I had to! I took it at night which seems to helped some of the side effects. Good luck! 🙂

Soton85 :  No…apparently every doctor is different with this.

Sorry for your loss, Bee. We fell pregnant the first month trying but had a mmc discovered at the 12 week scan. I had a d&c then my Fiance had back surgery so we had to wait until he was mobile to try again but then luckily got pregnant first time again. I gave birth to our little boy in March this year and he’s now nearly 5 months old! Another story….my friend had a blighted ovum and now has a 2 month old baby boy! She got pregnant first time trying both times too. Hope this helps.  Good luck!I’m sure next time will bring you your rainbow x

Soton85 :  I was very lucky. I began MCing on March 24, 2015 naturally (I was appx 6 weeks) and conceived that cycle. I found out I was pregnant in late April and had my son in December. I’m so sorry for this loss and hope you get your rainbow baby soon!

It tooks us 3 months to get pregnant the first time; we found out at 9 weeks that I had a MMC.  Had a D&C and then it took 3 months for my hormones to regulate and cycles to return; then 3 more months until a BFP.  I’m 15w5d now.

Had a chemical pregnacy Jan 4th, took the month of of OPK and TTC to heal (body and mind), found out I was pregnant again Feb 4th – so it was 2 weeks from early miscarriage to pregnancy. Who knows if it was the mental stress of getting pregnant that was off my shoulders, or my body had signaled to itself that it was ready to get pregnant.
