We got pregnant with both of our kids the first times DH didn’t pull out. We weren’t charting or anything like that. I was 26 and then 29.

First Cycle with an OPK. I was 32. Oh, and we only had time to BD once during my fertile window. So basically I got pregnant from having unprotected sex once.

This isn’t normal, though. Most of my friends and family spent 4-6 months TTC (the ones who talked babies with me were ages 26-38 at the time of conception).

28, first cycle (right after withdrawal bleed going off the pill after over a decade – I never got a period after my withdrawal bleed because I was pregnant) and got a BFP 3 weeks later. never got to chatting or temping. We have a happy healthy 6 month old 🙂

sparklesalways:  it’s a special lubricant for conceiving! It helps to give sperm better conditions to swim where they need to!

My first month off BCP after being on it for almost 10 years. That pregnancy ended in a MMC at 12 weeks. Next cycle we tried after my D&C we got pregnant again and that baby girl is now 2! We we’re both 25 at the time.

31, husband 30 and conceived after 7 months of trying (though only 3 had decent timing). Ended in miscarriage at 6 weeks.  Awaiting my first post MC period which I expect in about a week – or maybe a BFP, but our timing wasn’t good due to end of school term stress (me) and night shift (him).

sparklesalways:  I was beyond worried and heartbroken. We were starting to save for IVF. Thankful for my little miracle 🙂

Currently going on about 18 months. We are dealing with male factor infertility, but my husband had surgery and his numbers are now good enough that we “should” be able to concieve naturally. Just waiting for that BFP! If it doesn’t happen in 6 months we will try IUI. We are both 28.

It took us almost 2 years, 19 cycles and 7 early losses. For the pregnancy that resulted in my son I was on progesterone suppositories, lovenox and prednisone after BFP, my RE basically approved to try a somewhat experimental treatment and we will never know if it was the meds or we just got lucky with a healthy pregnancy (my RE thinks it was just luck). We were both 32 and our son is almost 3 months old 🙂

sparklesalways:  ya I knew I had pcos so we got to skip the usual 1 year of trying on our own before getting a referral to a fertility centre. I still had this idea in my head though that if the medications made me ovulate I would get pregnant right away but that wasn’t the case!

2nd cycle after going off the pill. I was 38 (or 39 really) since we conceived on my birthday. I am 18 weeks pregnant today. No techniques.

Got pregnant the first time on our honeymoon,  but unfortunately that one didn’t stick.  I didn’t have a period for five months after the MC and was diagnosed with PCOS.  My RE went straight to fertility meds and timed intercourse since I wasn’t ovulating,  and the first round of Letrozole resulted in a pregnancy.  We have four weeks to go and I was 27 both times we conceived.

sparklesalways:  it took us three months to conceive our first child. I was 28 and he was 27. We did not use any special techniques.

Started trying at the end of July, got pregnant right around Halloween. I was 32 and my husband was 29. I used an OPK for the first time that month but we mostly just had sex a lot.
