19 months for us. I was 24 and Darling Husband was 28 at the time we started. We began very casual, then gradually moved to temping and OPKs as it took longer and longer. We actually started the infertility process, and had Darling Husband do a semen analysis and got our results back that he Had better than average numbers. I was so upset that it was “my fault”. Two weeks later we got our first BFP and im now 32 weeks πŸ™‚

I wonder if my working nights had something to do with it (even though I know I ovulated regularly and got enough sleep). In the end I’m glad it took us a while, we got into a better place than when we started and I get THIS baby. Who was meant for us πŸ™‚

I was 26 and not trying at all. In fact I was taking progesterone only oral contraception. My boyfriend and I (now my fiance) had actually only been together for two months, so I guess thats how long it took us? Our only “technique” would be a crazy amount of honeymoon period sex. Unfortunately it was ectopic though, which is a risk of getting pregnant on that type of contraception, and why i am very anti it now, unless its the sort that actually prevents ovulation (which is much more effective). The wonderful New Zealand government however does not fund the more effective progesterone only pill, so I was prescibed the one that failed and ultimately almost killed me. If Id known I would have paid for the other one myself.

1st BFP: I was 25, DH was 27. Got pregnant first cycle trying. I was tracking cycles. Resulted in my healthy daughter who is now 2.5

2nd BFP: I was 28, Darling Husband was 30. Took 12 cycles. I was temping, charting, using OPKs, etc. Resulted in MMC at 8 weeks.

3rd BFP: Ages 28, 30. Took 4 cycles after MMC. I am now 13 weeks pregnant.

I had been using temps/charting to avoid pregnancy for over a year so I was very familiar with my cycle. We concieved our first cycle trying but it ended in an early miscarriage. 2 cycles, later I was pregnant again and I’m due in May with a baby boy.

From starting TTC to sticky baby – 4 months, we are 26/27 and we used everything temps, charting and OPKs.

No, but I did start taking prenatals on month 5 because a friend told me it really helped her conceive. We got lukcy that month, so maybe there was something to it.

I started 18 months ago, at 28 ( Darling Husband 28 as well). Used tempting, OPKs, ferning for a while, preseed, millions of supplements, three rounds of clomid and timed intercourse, one IUI, and in second round of IVF, and still waiting. Hoping it will happen easier for you πŸ™‚

We were both 30 when we started. I charted and used OPKs at first. It took us 13 cycles and IVF. Turned out to be male factor infertility.

Honestly, the two times my ex husband ejaculated in me, I was pregnant so I will say I got pregnant immediately. In fact, I was on something with my daughter so I feel as if it’s super easy for me so I have to be very careful.

I was 30 when I had my first.I just turned 38.

How long did it take you?: March we started trying, got a positive in October. 9 cycles.

What was your age at the time?: 26-27. My husband was 25-26. We will both be 27 when baby is born this summer.

Did you use any techniques? (temping, OPKs, etc): Oh yes. About everything…. Charting, tempting, OPKs, BDing during fertile window, read TCOYF, used Pre-Seed, tried accupuncture, changed diet and all kinds of stuff. It took two rounds of Femara/Letrozole to get a positive test. πŸ™‚
