I’m really indecisive and was wondering how long it took you to find your dream dress..
I have never tried on wedding dresses before or know much about it…I know I like the sheath(?) look, even if I’m unsure whether it will suit my body shape..lol
I do have a dress I love and that is: Who knows I may only need to try the one!!! 😀

I went to two bridal shops and found my dress at the second one. I love my dress, wouldn’t change it for nothing else

Beautiful dress! I bought my first dress, at my first store. It wasn’t anything like the ones I had cut out of magazines, but I knew the second I saw it. I did try loads others on and then go out to lunch with my mom, but ultimately went (okay, ran!) back to get it.

I love sheaths! I bought one. Empire waisted ones are universally flattering. It wasn’t what I was originally looking for however. So my total store count is 14. I didn’t know immediately. I went back about an hour later saying I wanted it, quickly threw it back on and it sealed the deal.

I went to 9 stores and tried on well over 50 dresses. I found my dress at the 8th store, stared at pictures of me in it for a few months, and ultimately decided to go back and buy it.

I went to six stores, and tried on about a 100 dresses. Yikes! I found my dress at the sixth store, when I thought I had already made up my mind on another dress.

It took me 1 day and 2 stores! I went to one store, stayed for 2 hours and tried on lots of dresses, went to lunch, went to the other store and only stayed for about 30 minutes, ran back to the first store and bought my dress! I did go back about 3 months later though when the White by Vera Wang dresses came out because I’d developed an obsession over the blush dress but I stuck to my guns afterward and the obsession faded over time 🙂

I was like you and looked at hundreds of dresses online. I was set on buying a mermaid gown but ended up going with an A-line/ball gown. But I ended up only going to one store and bought the 3rd dress I tried on.

1 Store is all it took me to find my dress, It was the first one I tried on. I did try on about 15 others after and at the end it was between two dresses and I picked the first one I tried on…

When I got engaged I bought like 3 or 4 bridal magazines, cut pictures from there. A few weeks later I was trying on dresses and they used my pictures to help find a dress for me. I tried on a few from my pictures but they didn’t have them all. The first dress shopping day was a weekday at one bridal salon. I found a dress I really liked but didn’t want to buy the first one I liked (I liked it but not sure if it was THE ONE). The following Saturday I had appointments at 3 different salons but found one at the first one I went to. I ended up with the wrong dress 🙁 I didn’t like it and 3 days later went back and got the dress of my dreams. All in all the process took only a few weeks. I pretty much knew what I was looking for, though.

I found my dress in one day after visiting two shops. The dress wasn’t purchased that day because it was completely different than anything I had originally wanted. I planned on going home and looking at a few more shops another day. After a few days I couldn’t stop thinking about the dress and realized how much I loved it even though it was not what I set out for.
After I bought it I still loved it, but started getting a little dress regret after seeing some beautiful dresses on here. Then my mom came back to my state and I tried on the dress for her. She started crying her eyes out. She is not normally a physically emotional person so that took me back. At that point I knew that I had made the right choice.
