I’m 32, we got pregnant the first time we decided not to use protection. So right away basically.

Second cycle after not using condoms. I was charting my temps/CM. I’d been off BC for about 6 months. No idea how long it would have taken without charting – possibly the same, possibly not, but I wanted to know I was doing everything I coud to give us the best chance. Still took me by surprise though ๐Ÿ™‚

Off b/c in March 2011.  Started trying in June.  Pregnant on 2nd cycle, lost that baby at 6wks.  Tried for 3 more cycles, got our sticky baby bfp late november.  So 5 months total trying.  Oh, and we’re both 29.

Not trying not to and it took around a year and a half. I’ll be 21 when the baby is born.

I’m 28 (but started trying at 27). I got off BC for 3 months and we used other means of protection per my doctor’s recommendation. We got pregnant on our second month of trying. I had been on the pill for about 8-9 years.

As a side note, I had a very regular period before getting on the pill, and it stayed pretty regular after getting off.

You should add a poll! For me it took 10 months, with no temping or charting and limited access to my DH because of work.

It took us 9 months total, with 2 very early miscarriages/chemical pregnancies on Month 7 and 8, and now I’m 5w3d…I was on birth control for 15 years, and we started trying as soon as I stopped it.  Even though my cycles went back to a pretty regular schedule and I was ovulating, I think there must have been some truth to what everyone says about your body getting “normal” again when coming off the pill for so long – at least for me.  I’ve definitley read tons of stories on here of it happening the first month off the pill, but that’s the only explanation I can muster for why we had nothing for 6 months, and then got pregnant 3 months in a row. That or it just simply wasn’t our time yet:)  I never in a million years thought it would happen twice in a row, and I was pretty blown away when I got a BFP for the 3rd month in a row.  Good luck!

Oh and I’m 31, and I’ll be 32 when the baby is born in December!

First try for both pregnancies.  I am super fertile.  I was 25 the first time I got pregnant and 33 the second time.
