We’ve had 12 cycles without success, 2 surgeries, 6 months of hormonal supression and another surgery scheduled in 3 weeks. No luck yet, but hopefully we’ll have some after this next surgery. I’m 32 (31 when we began trying), Darling Husband is 39 (38 when we began trying) and I have severe endometriosis.

It took us about a year since we decided we were ready to TTC to get pregnant, but we were just trying naturally for most of it.  It wasn’t until 8 or 9 months in that I actually started to get into a little bit of charting (but even then I wasn’t a dedicated charter).  After I started to monitor my patterns, it was about 2 cycles.

We were lucky enough to get pregnant on our first try. I stopped birth control in January and starting charting to avoid until our wedding in June. I’m 25 Darling Husband is 30

Kld37:  4 months.  We were always actively trying (charting/temping/FW BDing, etc).  I’d been on birth control for 5 years, but had stopped about 15 months before TTC. I’m 29, Darling Husband is 30.

I am 34, first time being pregnant ever, tried for 7 cycles. I tracked cycles online to determine ovulation window. Been with hubby almost 9 years – no protection. He did the pull-out method for many years and it was successful. Had to “try” for this pregnancy.  Good Luck to you, you have plenty of time ahead of you.

newbabybee:  thanks! I don’t think this is going to be our month (both got sick during FW on top of having lots of extra work) so hoping we get lucky on seven too!

I am also 21 and Darling Husband is 22.  We got married this year on May 23rd, and got our BFP on July 2nd.  We conceived around June 5th… so it took us about 2 weeks to conceive. Good luck, hope you see that BFP soon!

I was 28 and my hubby was 30 when we conceived.  We stopped using condoms as soon as we were married as we wanted to conceive ASAP and were successful the first time we tried.  We got pregnant about 14 days after our wedding and found out in Florence, Italy on our mediterranean cruise.

I just turned 28, Darling Husband is 27. I just found out I was pregnant this week! We had been NTNP since May, but this was the only cycle that happened to have good timing. I have PCOS so I didn’t think it would happen this quick and my cycles have still been really long, between 45-54 days! Good luck!!
