I’m wondering how long it took all of you to get pregnant once you were Actively TTC (charting, using OPKs, etc.). Please feel free to elaborate on your situation, or tell your story of TTC! If you also wouldn’t mind including your age that would be great!

Just about 14 months and counting…
Don’t be scared though. A lot of us who check out the TTC boards regularly have been trying for a while. if you luck out on the first couple tries, you just don’t have time to seek out these boards 🙂

The distribution for responses to this poll is really interesting. It’s almost like, if you don’t get it the first try, it’s going to take you a long time. Hmm.

we got pregnant both times our first month of TTC 🙂

@SapphireSun: I thought the same thing! I have to say that I’ve been asking a lot of my friends and family and MOST (not all, of course) of them who conceived before they were 25 had an easier time getting preggo on their first try. I wonder the age spread of the people who have polled!
@Mrs_Grenier: Wow! Awesome! I hope I’m that lucky! I noticed we’re the same age, so maybe that will help me!

We got pregnant on our second cycle of TTC. I’d been charting for four or five months at that point.

I’m 24 and got pregnant the first month we didn’t use birth control. I was just getting geared up to start charting and tracking my temp and everything…and then never had to! We were quite lucky, I feel for all you ladies who have been trying for quite some time. Both my and DH’s mothers took a long time to get pregnant at about my same age, so I was thinking it might take us awhile, but it was quite the opposite!

I was 23 when I started TTC; got PG on the first try, but I’d been charting for two months before that. That PG ended in a m/c and then I got PG again our first month trying after the m/c. Getting PG so fast both times made me very grateful that I’d been on birth control for so long, because apparently I had no issues getting pregnant.
