I’m looking at 3 months and 11 days (but who’s counting?) until the big day! Eep! I’ve done ok losing weight just from eating better while I’m at school (no snacks and homemade goodies like at mom’s or FIL’s). I still want to work on getting toned though, and I figured I can start with 30 Day Shred over my winter break and then start hitting the gym 3 or 4 times a week when school starts (so 2 months of gym time).
I’m not starting too late, am I? I’ve heard that it can take about 12 weeks on average to see a physical difference, but I’m wondering what you bees have noticed in your personal experiences with toning up. I used to be in great shape, but I’ve slid during school, so I’m really hoping I can get back into shape and soon. Any tips or advice is much appreciated. Thanks, all!

I never see results. I remember writing this once before! I really don’t though. I feel results though!

I think it depends on how much you have to loose and where you need to loose. Also how tall you are.
I’ve been working to loose weight since July and only started seeing the results earlier this month when I hit 15lbs lost. I’m short (5″0) and have a naturally curvy figure. I’m hoping to loose 40lbs (maybe more).

@cbee: I read that you feel the endurance perks much sooner, but those don’t show up in my photos! LOL. Still, healthy is happy, so I’ll do what I can and see where it gets me 🙂
@flutterbi: Not much to loose, I’m already within 5lbs of my goal, it’s just that I’m a ‘soft skinny’ rather than strong. I wouldn’t even care if I actually stayed the same weight or gained a few as long as I was strong and toned looking. I’m 5’3″, so I know that it shows quickly when I add, hopefully it does the same if I go down in weight. I don’t want to loose what boobs I’ve got, either! But I don’t know that there’s a way to avoid that if that’s what goes first.

@indibee: I am not kidding you…the 30 day shred if done right and consistently does work. I saw results at like day 16? I love Jillian:) If you want detailed info, PM me. I did jillian 2 years ago to loose 20 lbs which I did. And i’ve kept about 15lb of those off:)
