I am a multiple dress bride. (I’m working on being less impulsive!) I have my dresses on every site I can find. How long did it take you to sell an extra wedding dress or your wedding dress after your Big Day?

I’ve had mine posted for 3 1/2 months. I’ve gotten a few bites, but have not sold it yet!

I just listed mine so I’m interested to see the poll results.
Thus far I only have it on 2 free sites and next time eBay has one of those you don’t pay listing fee if it doesn’t sell promotions I might list it on eBay. I’ll give it a couple months before listing it on PreOwnedWeddingDress.
I’m in no rush!

I’m interested to. Mine is slightly altered so I’m wondering what my chances are. I think a lot of it is having good pictures of your dress, not weirdly angled hazy ones like some people post.

I ended up buying two dresses. I sold one at a local wedding consignment shop and ended up getting very little for it considering it was never worn. I had my wedding dress posted on a few websites for a while, but never had any luck.

I sold my dressing dress days after my wedding – it was great! I posted on weddingbee and a few other sites without much interest, I decided to bite the bullet – posted it on preownedweddingdresses.com and sold it in 3 days. I was extremely lucky.

i had dress regret and finally decided to sell. i posted my ad everywhere and started looking for a new one. the timing was perfect, i had a buyer send me the money about 2 days before i needed to place the order on my new dress – about 1.5 months after i started advertising. ironically i sold it through preownedweddingdress.com, the FIRST site i paid for and placed my ad.

I have had my dresses on for a few months and for only half of what I paid! I just can’t seem to get them to sell. Its driving me nuts!
