My cycle before my BFP when we were NTNC was 59 days. I tried to BD around my “fertile window” at CD 15, but when I didn’t get my period or a BPF, I gave up trying to time it.

Next month I started charting, and still BD’d EOD from CD 10 to CD 15. Then we BD’d (for fun) on CD 22. Charting showed I actually ovulated on CD 25 and I got my BPF on CD 40.

So I guess we never BDs with ideal timing.

We only had “perfect” timing 1 month. We had “ok” timing for 2 months before that. My husband thought it would take a lot longer than that. We were so lucky!

First month trying.

I was using OPKs and checking my CM, not temping. I knew that the days before O are the most fertile, and our timing ended up being O-3, O-2, and day-of. I also stayed laying on my back for 20-30 minutes after.

if you have stretchy, fertile CM, even if the OPK isn’t pos yet, BD!

It took us three months with OPK. Good luck!

10 cycles, 11 months of tracking CM, OPKs, and temping. We had male factor issues.
