15 months/16 cycles and no luck yet. We’re fairly young (DH -30; me – 26), healthy from all outward appearances, and I have very regular cycles so we gave it until now and we’ll begin testing in the next month or two. It’s been a very hard journey…I hope yours is much shorter. Good luck!

I got of BCP in April 2011, but we used other methods of birth control until November 2011 where we had unprotected sex every other day around ovulation. In December 2011 we had sex 8 days straight around ovulation and it worked! So on month #2.

We got extremely lucky and got pregnant the first month we tried with both of our children.

It took me about 8 months to get pregnant with assistance from clomid.  That pregnancy ended in an ectopic pg.  We are still trying and have just hit the 1 year mark.

It took me well over a year.  I have PCOS and don’t ovulate on my own.  I did 3 rounds of oral meds, 2 rounds of injectables, and 1 IUI which finally worked.  However, we also had male factor infertility which lengthened our time of trying.
