4.5 years I think 🤔
4.5 years I think 🤔
About 3 months 😂
We started dating at 15/16 and then broke up for a year during our final year of high school. When we got engaged, we were 24/25. We knew fairly early on that we were in it for the long haul, but we had things that we wanted to do before getting engaged/married (finish school, settle into our careers, buy a house).
6 months. We were both 30 when we met.
8 months, we will have been together for a year and a half when we get married. Also older and in our 30s.
He proposed about a month after out first date. We married a few weeks later. Spent the pre-marriage time negotiating how we would resolve conflict, checking the big issues for basic compatibility and setting goals. Been dating ever since:)
We had known each other nearly 30 years so it is not as sudden as it sounds. We were schoolmates, he was on my left everywhere we went in the days of alphabetization in schools. He was my best friend and my first crush and says I was his too. Both too shy to say so for years… We passed jobs back and forth as adults. Both owned small businesses and did related work. Not like we just met;)
His grandparents had known each other two weeks when they married at a very young age! They got over 75 happy years together!
Engaged after 2 years and 2 months, married after 3 years and 3 months. 🙂
One year to the day!
I proposed to him on our 4 year anniversary.
I had just turned 25 and him 30 when we got engaged. 🙂
Little less than 3 months. But we lived together for over a year before getting married. That was important to me. Seeing each other in a relationship and living with one anothers daily habits are completely different.
We dated for 8 years. We started dating when we were 14 and we got married one year after we graduated from college
A year and a half.
Two and a half years, almost to the day.
We first started talking about it about 6 months after we got together (we had already lived together by then), but formally got engaged/started planning a wedding just shy of our 4 year anniversary. We were 24/30 when we met, 28/34 when we got engaged and will be 29/35 when we marry.
