Well, fi & I knew each other for 3 years before we started dating. But it was about 5 months after we starting seeing each other.

It’ll be four years, two months and eleven months. He is not a virgin but I am and I told straight up four years ago that my body is for my husband and he respected that. You know your fi loves you when… 🙂
@futuremrsk18: uh yeah could have been a lot longer! I made mine wait 3 years.
I think it was 3 weeks before we first attempted it. I say “attempted”, because (TMI) it wouldn’t go in! I was by no means a virgin when I met Fiance, but he is, ahem… (more TMI) very well endowed. And I’m a petite person.
After two more weeks and two more attempts, we were finally successful, lol. But we are currently long-distance, so every time we are together again, the initial “go time” takes awhile. It will be nice when we are finally living together again!
Geez, my fiance would be SO embarrassed if he knew I was writing this!
We also waited a whole year. We were both virgins, though, and had been doing everything short of actual intercourse since the beginning haha. But we had a very memorable one year anniversary!
After about three months, and only because that was the first opportunity we had to do so. In previous relationships we had had sex before we even became an item. I don’t think it’s “slutty” to have sex with someone before you’re in a relationship or quickly after entering into a relationship. Don’t put yourself down, ladies, even if you’re just joking!
I also had not heard that term previously.
Not until we were on our honeymoon, which was about a year and five months from our first date.
Because of my faith, it was very important to me to remain a virgin until after I was married. My Darling Husband is a pastor who had been married previously for more than 20 years, but it was extremely important to both of us that we not do anything beyond kiss each other until after we were married.
my Fiance and i slept together after a week. it was like our fifth “date” (we hung out pretty much every day) and we had already told eachother we loved eachother by then.
@ohcaptainmycaptain: I think it’s wonderful that you made that commitment to wait for your husband and that your SO/FH has respected and honored that! 🙂
@everyheart: I have the same problem. We see each other all the time, but rarely have the alone time to be intimate. If we go longer than a week, it can be a problem! Lube helps, but I’ve ended up with tiny tears more than once.
Maybe 5 or 6 weeks after we met? I think it was our fifth time hanging out (we’d really only been on one actual date, we mostly just spent time at each other’s houses.)
