I got so sick of waiting for Fiance to get his wedding band, that 2 months ago I just went out and got mine. He’s still not showing signs of buying one for himself….despite gentle nudging from me.
How late did your Fiance leave it to get his band? How long does it take for a ring to arrive? I’m getting worried…

well we got ours from a store,so we didnt have to wait for it to arrive. But Darling Husband was a nightmare about ring shopping,he really took his time. His reason was he didnt like trying rings on in front of the sales people, because his hands are always a bit grubby, and he was worried that any rings he did try on would get stuck!lol No matter how much I tried to encourage him to go,he did it within his own time frame. I told him when he had to get it by (he ended up getting it in august and we got married early sept!)

Ugh…why can’t they do things in our timeframe 🙂

My Fiance was actually excited to look for his ring and was more choosy than I’d have expected. We went ring shopping for him about 4-5 months before the wedding and once he ordered it, it took almost a month to come in. I’d say just make sure you go 2 months before the wedding to be safe, although I’m sure a month ahead of time is fine!

Fiance and I went to get our bands together. I just made him go one day. He did complain about it being early. I told him there was no reason to wait and leave one more thing on our list for later. haha.

We got Fiance first ring when we went to pick up my engagement ring. Workingin a jewlery store I knew with his size 8 finger we may need to order him a ring. His first ring took 8 weeks and it was just a plain gold and tungsan band. Then I decided I wanted him to have a “nicer” ring with diamonds to wear on special occasions and we ordered him a white good band which will also take 8 weeks
