Our wedding planner has an hour set aside for first look photos and another half hour to get back to our venue and touch up makeup. 15 minutes seems way too short, especially if you want a private moment alone with your honey just to enjoy the day (this may be the only time during the day you get a special moment alone).

About 15-20  minutes, if that is all you are doing. If you are getting pictures of just you and your groom without the bridal party, immediately after the first look, 30-45 minutes.

You should be fine. Ours took 10-15 minutes.

I’ve only allotted about 15 minutes for the first look, then we’ll be taking off to take pictures with our bridal party. I think 15 is plenty..

I think 15 minutes is pretty standard. Our photographer gave me her suggested time allowances for different things, so I did ours based on that.

Ours took just about 20 minutes but we had an hour scheduled too. But we also exchanged gifts and letters to each other at the same time and had the photographer get pictures of that as well. So we had to stand around and wait for the limo after. 15-30 minutes is plenty.

@Jen51287:  We scheduled 30 minutes and probably used 20.  It was nice to have the spare time to just BE with Darling Husband and take a second out from the day.
